S41 Power Rankings part 6

I’m including my win/loss predictions with a little power ranking. The ranking isn’t the ole, you win the SB you get to be the number one ranked user in BL. It’s going to be a little mix of season 40, team, user skill, prediction on where I think you’ll finish at the end of the year. So without further ado here is my power ranking.

Super Bowl contenders

6 -Packers – 11-6 (2-4)

Cody got his young qb to dev so if he can make it work with him I see no reason why he can’t have a successful season. Still a top defense. He’ll adjust with some easier throws and running the ball. I’m a proponent of accuracy stats don’t matter so I see Cody still in it for the nfc.

5 -Bucs – 13-4 (4-2)

Kumar kept pretty much the same team that he won the NFC with. As long as Brady has EZ mode he’ll be in the hunt to hoist the Lombardi. Still a very tough division which I think helps him in the end. Playing playoff caliber week in and week out should get him ready to not go one and done this playoffs.

4 – Saints – 14-3 (4-2)

Austin got his QB. He made some moves to get under the cap and get younger. No one I would trust more to win one game than him. So while I don’t have him at the top of the NFC I think he’s still going to be very good this season and he’ll be scrapping towards a Lombardi at the end.

3 – Steelers – 12-5 (4-2)

The top seed in the afc got his qb as well. A mobile guy who hopefully will hold onto the ball in crunch time. Duhooty has one of the most unique offenses and a pretty tricky defense to dissect. I think he’s still one of the top guys this season based off madden knowledge and his team. If he keeps it up through the season he’s my pick for afc rep.

2 -Bears – 14-3 (5-1)

Feels like a common statement, Alex got his QB as well. Ezmode burrow should put him at the top of the nfc north and pretty close to the top of the nfc. His division is stacked so that might hurt him for the one seed but it definitely wouldn’t shock me if he made the Super Bowl this season. His defense is doodoo but he’s more of a scheme guy anyway.

1 -Texans – 12-5 (5-1)

Season 40 champ. A new member to a hidden channel. Or maybe it doesn’t exist. Who knows. The Texans roster was dog shit last year and it only got better throughout the season and into the offseason. A lot of teams got better but he still deserves the top spot in the rankings.
